How did we start?

After graduating from college with a bachelors in Biochemistry I started Ears for the Culture in April of 2021 as a way to create mouse ears for women of color. In that time frame it has accomplished that and grown into so much more. Today we focus on creating luxurious ears that hit you right in your heart. Our ears are meant to look exquisite and feel familiar. Our ears are bougie, stylish, and nostalgic.

What does "Ears for the Culture" mean?

Ears for the culture is a playing on a saying in the African-American community. Doing something "For the Culture" means that you are doing something you wouldn't normally do but because the added value is high, you do it. This completely describes why my shop is here today.  I am here creating ears for this amazing community because I absolutely want to. I love every single customer and admirer of our ears.
